where-im-not: We don’t do it for glory. We don’t do it for money. We don’t do it for winning. We do it for the feeling. The feeling of the water, the feeling of the boat, the feeling of the burning muscles, the feeling in your stomach at the start, the pause at the catch, the tap down, the feel of the perfect stroke. 4 am starts, winter mornings, wind, rain, hail, shine - we’ll always be there.  For the feeling. It makes it all worthwhile.
